Medical teams meticulously determine treatment techniques based on the patient's condition, tumor size, and location to ensure individualized and optimal therapy.
CT simulator is a crucial tool for radiation therapy planning. Patients are positioned on a flat bed with immobilization devices to minimize movement. Subsequently, images are acquired using the CT simulator. These images are then used for treatment planning, where physicians define the radiation target area, dosage, and specific techniques.
When integrated with a Surface Tracking Device, the CT simulator enables advanced radiation simulation techniques such as Deep Inspiration Breath Hold (DIBH) and 4D CT.
Provides information regarding the true location, size, and shape of tumors and surrounding normal organs.
Utilizes imaging data to accurately define treatment areas, increasing radiation delivery precision and minimizing side effects on adjacent organs.
