This comprehensive care ensures precise and targeted treatment tailored to individual patient needs.

Multidisciplinary Team of RAM2 Radiotherapy Center - LINAC 4D Technology
RAM2 Radiotherapy Center: LINAC 4D Technology is ready to serve patients with a team of highly skilled and specialized medical professionals in radiotherapy and oncology. The team includes medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, medical physicists, Radiation therapists, and oncology-specialized nurses. They work closely together at every stage of treatment, ensuring patients receive the best care and progress through the treatment process with confidence.
We emphasize comprehensive, patient-centered care to achieve optimal cancer treatment outcomes, addressing both physical and emotional well-being. Recognizing the complexity of health conditions that cancer patients may face, such as diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, immune disorders, infections, blood disorders, and other chronic illnesses, our team provides well-rounded care that balances cancer treatment with management of coexisting conditions.
Our goal is to deliver the best possible treatment results while supporting the overall health and quality of life of each patient.

We host a weekly Tumor Conference where specialists from multiple fields collaborate to develop a complete treatment plan. This allows patients to receive a thorough diagnosis and treatment plan on the same day, minimizing delays and travel, and maximizing convenience.
Our center is equipped with the Elekta linear accelerator alongside the surface tracking system, supporting advanced radiation techniques such as 3D, 4D, IMRT, VMAT, and SRT. These cutting-edge technologies deliver:
Our team of specialists includes medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and radiotherapists who bring extensive experience and expertise. They collaborate to deliver personalized treatment plans that ensure the best possible outcomes for every patient.
We are committed to providing timely care with efficient radiation simulations and prompt treatment initiation. This ensures patients receive the right treatment at the right time, tailored to their specific disease stage.
Technologies For Patient
Our dedicated online platform allows patients to connect with specialists daily, making it easier to get answers to questions or seek guidance at any time. This service helps reduce anxiety and keeps patients informed and confident throughout their treatment journey.
RAM2 Hospital prioritizes not only advanced medical treatment but also patient-centered care filled with empathy. The medical and nursing teams are committed to supporting patients at every step, ensuring the best treatment outcomes.
Radiotherapy techniques and methods have continuously evolved to provide more precise and tailored treatments for each patient. The main radiation techniques currently used include 3D-CRT, 4D-RT, IMRT, VMAT, and Stereotactic Radiotherapy.
1. 3D Conformal Radiotherapy (3D-CRT)
3D-CRT uses CT scan images to create a three-dimensional model of the tumor, mapping its width, length, and height for treatment planning. This allows for precise calculation of radiation doses and the adjustment of radiation beams to match the shape of the tumor, minimizing the radiation exposure to surrounding healthy tissues.
4D-RT is an advanced technique that, in addition to using 3D images from a CT scan, also incorporates surface tracking (tracking the patient's body surface) and respiratory data (monitoring breathing) into the treatment planning. This improves accuracy when targeting tumors in the chest, especially for lung and breast cancers, where critical organs like the heart are close to the radiation field. 4D-RT reduces radiation exposure to the heart, minimizing potential side effects, while allowing higher doses to target the tumor.
3. Intensity-Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT)
IMRT builds on 3D-CRT by using Multileaf Collimators (MLC) to adjust the intensity of the radiation beams in specific areas with precision. This technique delivers the highest radiation dose to the tumor while minimizing exposure to surrounding healthy tissues. Although it takes more time than 3D-CRT, it is ideal for cancers located in complex areas, such as head and neck cancers.
VMAT is a technique developed after IMRT, in which the radiation machine continuously rotates around the patient while adjusting the shape and dose of radiation in different areas according to the tumor's characteristics. VMAT can rotate up to 360 degrees, allowing for more angles of radiation delivery, reducing treatment time, and improving the ability to target tumors from multiple directions. It is particularly useful for prostate cancer, brain cancer, and tumors in complex locations.
SRT delivers high-dose radiation with extreme precision in fewer sessions. It employs fixation devices to reduce patient movement, requiring more time for each session compared to other techniques. SRT can be categorized into:
DIBH involves the patient taking a deep breath and holding it for a specific period. Deep inhalation pushes the heart downward and further away from the breast, reducing radiation exposure to the heart.
Catalyst+ HD uses 3D Surface Imaging Technology to monitor the patient’s body position in real-time. It precisely tracks changes in body alignment and breathing patterns, ensuring that the patient maintains the optimal position during breath-hold. This accuracy is crucial for the success of the DIBH technique.
